You can be flexible in how you use it, but be sure to develop a healthy habit of spending time daily with the Lord.
Some have asked, "When is the best time for my devotion? In the morning or the evening?"
My answer to that is, "The best time is when you're at your best!"
If you are a morning person, do your devotion in the morning.
If you are a evening person, do your devotion in the night.
The bottom line is: "Jesus deserves your best, so give Him the best part of your day!"

Ffind the Bible readion corresponding to today's date from the "Bible Reading Program".Turn to the chapter in your Bible, asking the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you.

Read the Passages. As you are reading, underline anything the Lord impresses on you as a personal word an open heart, the lord will give you words of encouragement, direction and correction.(2Timothy 3:16)

When God has revealed a special lesson of life to you, turn to a fresh what God has just shown you.

• Enter the date and the page.
• Title the page.
• Record a topic that generally describes the lesson.
• Record the main scripture.
• Write down your observation from the text.
• Give application as to how you will be different today because of what you have just read.
• Record a prayer.

Turn to the "Table of Contents"and catalog your entry by date, scripture, title, topic and page.

Conclude your daily devotional time by turning to the "Prayer List" and intercede for what you have written.
